Delete your account
Remove your Theory Board cloud account and its content.

From the app
Sign in, open Your profile, and choose Delete account. Download any backups you want to keep first. Confirm with your current password and type DELETE. When self-service deletion is enabled, removal runs in the background; you do not need to keep the app open. We aim to complete requests within 48 hours. Keep your deletion receipt link to check completion even after signing out. Contact support if the request takes longer.
What is removed
Your sign-in account, profile, cloud boards, My cards cloud library, saved cloud versions, and uploaded photos are removed. Public boards become unavailable after your request is accepted.
Local browser copies, downloaded backups, screenshots, and other users' independent remixes are not removed. Clear local copies separately from the device where you saved them.
Need help or cannot sign in?
Email info@thepoleshift.com from the address associated with your Theory Board account, with the subject "Theory Board account deletion". We will verify ownership before processing the request. Never send your password.
Support also handles older boards whose photos are referenced by someone else's saved copy, and self-service deletion that is unavailable or has not finished. Hosting-provider backups or logs may follow separate retention periods; contact us about retention questions.
